Research: 

We use functional genomic, molecular and cellular approaches to study seed development and germination in plants and the role that hormones play in this processes. We are also interested in the molecular mechanisms regulating plant resistance to abiotic (temperature, water) stresses.

Currently, we are characterizing protein complexes important for the regulation of these processes identified by yeast-two-hybrid and Bimolecular Fluorescence Complementation (BiFC) assays in the model plant Arabidopsis. We are also studying transcriptional and post-translational regulation of master regulators of seed development and germination in response to abiotic stresses.
