Research:
Dr. Butler is interested in the following areas of research: (1) hormonal control of osmoregulation in aquatic vertebrates; (2) co-evolution of the RAS (renin-angiotensin system) and the sympathetic nervous systems in vertebrate animals; (3) Evolution of the structure and function of the vertebrate adrenal cortex.
